Glenwood Park
Glenwood Park is a small, self-sustaining neighborhood in Atlanta just south of I-20 bordering Grant Park and Ormewood Park. This award winning neighborhood was developed to be a truly walkable neighborhood and boasts a wide variety of businesses including a coffee shop, nail salon, health facility, gym, some of the best restaurants in the city and much more. The housing options include some of the most unique and diverse architecture in the city. In addition to the apartments and condos there are plenty of townhouses and single family houses, each with a unique design, style and architecture. Walk down one street and you’ll feel like you’re in Brooklyn Heights with the beautiful brownstones and tree lined sidewalks. Turn the corner and the scenery drastically, but somehow seamlessly, changes to large single-family houses, each unique to each other, surrounding the private resident park. The houses vary in style from Modern, Spanish Colonial, Italian and Traditional but somehow they all seem to flow together. The design of Glenwood Park is truly refreshing, the opposite of cookie cutter and must be experienced in person to truly appreciate it.
